The embroidery is extraordinarily well done, with a great realism. The maker must have liked collies, as that is the only pattern repeated, in both top corners. |

Quilted in a Roman block pattern, with a cable pattern in the outer border, at 6-7 stiches per inch. Light pencil guidelines are visible. |

There are a few very light age spots, and a slight variation in color of the white, which would disappear with the first laundering of this quilt. |
