| A 1930's lone star quilt from Berks County, PA. Measures about 95 inches square, in excellent, unwashed condition.
|The central star is framed by borders of yellow, blue and peach.|
|Only solid color fabrics are used.|
|Pieces of the star match the color of each of the borders.|
|A separate binding is applied in the same color as the quilt back.|
|Quilted in shell and sunflower patterns, and in diagonal lines in the inner borders; by the piece in the star, at 7 to 8 stitches per inch in white thread.|
|The back of the quilt is a solid green pastel.|
