A 1930's lone star quilt from Berks County, PA. Measures about 95 inches square, in excellent, unwashed condition.

The central star is framed by borders of yellow, blue and peach.
Only solid color fabrics are used.
Pieces of the star match the color of each of the borders.
A separate binding is applied in the same color as the quilt back.
Quilted in shell and sunflower patterns, and in diagonal lines in the inner borders; by the piece in the star, at 7 to 8 stitches per inch in white thread.
The back of the quilt is a solid green pastel.
